So You Wanna Be A Rockstar?

What is it about wanting to be a Rockstar?

I think at one time, most of us dreamed about becoming a Rockstar, but few of us actually did! The music lessons, rehearsals and time needed to dedicate to our musical ability seemed like a distraction, compared to the fun we could be having 'outside' the practice room.  For those who commit to their craft and spend hours upon hours getting a chord change down just right, or a certain drum solo perfected, they will ultimately enjoy the rewards.

This is why music attracts so many individuals and 'fans,' who truly respect the hard work that went into becoming a, 'rockstar.'  True success does not happen overnight...there are many hours, days, weeks and years of blood sweat & tears to become a solid musician.  It is in these moments we find pure joy that transcends our soul to another plane, experiencing a musical masterpiece or a great 'riff!'

OC Bandstand has been born to offer a venue to celebrate young musicians who are dedicating their efforts towards creating something unique and special to share with the world. Music makes the world go round! Without it, I can't imagine how boring life would be.
